This blogpost shows the classwork that we were give in class to choose a celebrity to use for the theory of stardom by Richard Dyer.
Reflection: This classwork was very easy to do because I already know a lot about Britney Spears and I really enjoyed scrolling through Pinterest to find the pictures of Britney Spears I included in the slides (although I did get distracted while being on Pinterest and started to lose track of what I was actually in the app for). she's one of my favorite celebrities and I always find myself using her for a lot of media examples or case studies. Theory of stardom is also a very fascinating topic because I never really understood how these things construct how celebrities are shown in the media. after learning about this topic I see celebrities a little different now. this task really helped me break down the type of celebrity that Britney Spears is.
